Mayor Edward L. Kelly authorised

The mayor also announced he would
press for enactment of an ordinance

Two Randolph field fliers, an In
structor and a cadet, were killed to
day when their plsne crashed at an
altitude of 600 to 800 feet and burned
in a field two and a half miles north
of 8ch.ru.
The victims were Second Lieut. Rob
ert C. Wood of the air reserve, on
active duty as an Instructor, and
Flying Cadet Frank Flsch. Both
bodies wen nearly consumed by the
flames.
Lieut. Wood's home was at Hayns.v

appealing to Japan and China to
settle their differences through peace
