Taken Suddenly IH W. E. Morris,
rancher of the Table Rock district,
was taken suddenly 111 while visiting
the Elks club late yesterday after
noon, and was rushed to Sacred
Heart hospital. He was released to
return to his home last night. His
physician reported today that his
condition was not serious, althougn
he was not very well.

Judge L. Q. Le welling delayed to
day the contemplated action of Dis
trict Attorney J. K. Weather-ford,
Jr., and Sheriff Herbert Shelton to
ban plnball machines In Linn county.
Attorney John F. Steelhammer,
representing Hugh Hammerly, pin
ball machine owner, filed the affi
davit. The action held up- disposal
or the restraining order issued last
march by Le welling at the behest
of Hammerly.
Weatherford said he would not
molest machines until the Injunc
tion was disposed of,, but said he
would do all he could to hasten the
disposition.
