two teams.

ball director, announced today that
a girls' tournament would be played
here In conjunction with the men's
meet.
District 1 and 11 are In Salem, and
districts 2 and 3 In Portland.
In district 4, AMorla. St. Helens,
Ctatskanle, Rainier and Vernonla will
play off. The Hillsboro team, Adams
said, la favored to win Washington
county, district 5.
MUwaukle and Oregon City are fav
orites In district 6. while McMlnu-
vllle and Tillamook are favored to
fight it out for tho district title:
Dallas and Independence will play
off In district 8, Bllverton and Mt
Angel In district 9, and Corvallls and
Albany In district 10.

Prom twelve to fourteen entrants
are expected to tee off In the weekly
two-ball mixed foursome tournament
at the Rogue Valley Qllf club at 6:30
this afternoon.
All mean be ra of the local club are
eligible for these nine-hole tourna
ments which were started a month
ago. Golf balls are awarded to. the
winners of the nine-hole medal play
struggle.
A. B. Roberts, local pro, announced
today that he Is now attempting to
organize eight four-man golf teams
to form an Interclub league. Tho eight
leaders are to be elected and they will
choose their teammates. Each team
will play once a week.
