Planning Event
Plans for an outdoor entertain
ment were outlined at a special
meeting of St. Ann' Altar society
Tuesday afternoon at the parish
house, called by Mrs. J. R. O'Connor,
president.
The affair I planned a a "circus
carnival" and la scheduled for early
September. It la to be held on the
church grounds.
Mrs. S. I. Brown Is general chair
man In charge of the affair. Other
committee appointments are to be
made later.

den party arranged Tuesday evening
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Frazer Brown. -
Following a short business session,
conducted by Mrs. Maynard Putney,
president, a program was presented
by. members of the Christian En
deavor group. Dolph Janes was ln
charge. . .
The program was built around
phases of the recent Fir Point younp
people's conference. Discussing the
conference were Miss Edith Hodg
klns, Miss Ruth Thompson, Miss
Chloe EUenburg. Miss Bernlce Baker.

The state Democratic committee
