Friday night by two hitchhikers ho

west of here, according to police re
ports. The pair also stole Miller's
automobile, which has not yet been
recovered. '
Miller lay unconscious In s road
side ditch tor several hours, he told
polios. When he regained conscious
ness, he made his way Into town and
reported the assault. '
He said that when one of tho
hitchhikers struck him, he locked his
car motor and threw the keys Into
sagebrush at the side of the road.
When he recovered, he found the
