of the Harrlsburg high school for
next year, according to word received
here from Salem. She is the daugh

pit plane down at municipal airport

MESSAGE ON FISH
PORTLAND. June 11 (P) The !
Maritime Federation of the Paclilc,
In convention here, ordered a wire
sent to President Roosevelt today, ;
urging the chief executive to halt ;
an alleged Invasion of American fish- j
lng rights In Bristol bay, Alaska, by
the Japanese.
The message asserted that Pacific '
coast fishermen were being "robbed ;
of their livelihood by invasion of 38
large fishing boats and many smaller
ones."
It pointed out that Americans arc i
prohibited from fishing In the waters !

years If Japanese fishermen continue
to operate along the Bristol banks.
