lar monthly meeting June 4 at th
home of Mr. and Mra. Jack Grow.
Pleasant conversation and handiwork
were enjoyed until noon when a most
bounteous dinner was spread on many
tables all loaded to capacity, and
most certainly enjoyed by a large as
sembly from tha entire neighbor
hood. In the afternoon group sing
ing was Indulged In for some time.

a genial hostess and everyone had a

Homer Martin has been cutting and
putting up hay for O. L. Rusho and
Russell Green the past week. Tha
hay is very good this year and of fine

W. R. Lamb Is home now after be
ing gone for several weeks. He put
in the corn crop for his son, O. E.
Lamb, who works for the Owen-Oregon
company.

Cream Cheese Olnger Fingers
Lobster tm napes
18 salted wafers.
1-8 cup minced canned lobster.
4 chopped olives.
& cup finely chopped celery.
1 teaspoon minced parsley.
1 tableapoon lemon Juice.
H teaspoon salt.
4 tablespoons mayonnaise.
3 tablespoons soft butter.
Psprlka.
Arrange the wafers on a fist sur
fsce. Spread with lobster mixed
with ollvea, celery, parsley, lemon
Juice, salt, mayonnaise and butter.
Sprinkle with paprika and serve.
Cress Rolls
18 thin slices fresh white bread.
clip chopped cress.
6 tablespoons soft butter.
1 tablespoon cream.
. teaspoon aalt.
Discard crusts from slices of breed.
Mn cress, butter, cresm and sslt.
Quickly spread on the bread. Roll
up each slice and wrap In waxed pa
per to hold In shape. Chill until
serving time. Insert bits of cress In
one end of each roll.

!4 cup finely chopped ham.
3 tablespoons chopped sweet
pickles.
1 tablespoon horseradish.
I tablespoon minced onion.
1 tablespoon prepared mustard.

Va cup chopped candled ginger.
Vt cup nuts, broken.
H tablespoon salt.
Cut fresh white bread Into strips
one-half by two Inches In sire. Spread
with butter and then cover with rest
of the Ingredients combined. Arrange,
spoke fashion on a Urge platter and
serve.
