Brigadier Howell, who la one of two
evangelists being sponsored by the
Army's territorial headquarters in
San pranclaeo, has been eminently
successful in evangelistic work
throughout the Western states where
he has served as an officer for more
than thirty years.
Captain Durham of the local corps
states that Brigadier HoweUs' meet
Inge are always characterized by a
great deal of happy singing, and that
the brigadier speaks forcefully and
entertainingly, yet briefly.
Brigadier Howell, who close a cam
paign In Klamath Palls this evening,
will be escorted to Medford Wednea
day afternoon by a party of Salva
tionists from the Klamath Pol la
corps, headed by Major and Mrs.
Thomas Mitchell. The Klamath Palls
delegates will remain for the open
ing services of the local campaign,
an open air meeting at 7:10 p. m-. at
Main and Central streets, Wednesday.
Meetings will be held nightly until
May 10 and all meetings are of a
public nature.
