Singer Captivates
In Craterian Film
Doff your hats to one of the moat ;
completely captivating pictures ever j
to grace a local screen. At the Cra-1

Oraca Moore vehicle, "When You're
In Love." unfolded Itself to the un
disguised pleasure of those gathered
for the occasion,
Grace Moore could start her career
from this moment on, so admirably
does she acquit herself In "When
You're in Love." There la a fresh
ness, a newness about the opera star
that Is entrsnclng. and she haa never
been in lovelier voice. Happy, too.
are the selections she sings. For
sheer appeal there are few numbers
more exciting than "Stboney," Schu
bert's "Serenade." and the "Walt
Aria" from Verdi's "Romeo and Ju

Add to these two extremely good
new numbers by Jerome Kern and
Dorothy Fild, "Our Song" and
"Whistling Boy." aa well aa "Vtssl

But the surprise Is yet to come.
The film treats its audience to a
story that would be welcome even
without music. It is a dellcloualy
cock-eyed yarn cooked up by that
master of screen writers. Robert Ris-
