Faye Springer, released from the
county Jail Nov. 0, on parole from a
sentence of one year In the state pen
itentiary on a charge of forgery, was
back in custody today and Is to be
taken to Salem to serve out the sen
tence Imposed In September Sheriff
Percy Webb announced. His parole
was revoked as a result of his arrest
Saturday for his admitted theft of
$13 from the cash register ot a, service
station where he was employed, the
sheriff said.
Police Officers Howard Moore and
Jamea Mcsser of Lawrence, Kans.,
bagged a wild coyote recently that
had strayed Into the city from the
countryside.
