by any air line, at 3:13 p. m. the fol
lowing day. The flight Is via Chicago, i

DRIVER PENALIZED
FOR LACK OF LIGHT
H. R. Williams, 137 Tripp street,
pleaded guilty In city court this
morning to a charge of operating a
motor vehicle at night without lights,
and received a ten-day Jail sentence,
which waa suspended by Judge Al
len D. Curry.
The charge was field by city police
after a car driven toy Williams had
allegedly rammed Into the side of
one driven by C. A. Hartley at the
Intereseotton of East Ninth street
snd South Riverside avenue about I

was suspended upon Williams' prom

AT TALENT RESIDENCE
Field M. Rico, sged 39 years, passed
away at the home of hla sister. Mrs.
Everett Bailey, west of Talent, early
Sunday evening. Buffering a long
sickness. Mr. Rice was a resident
of Dorrls, Calif., and had only been
with his sister two weeks. Besides
Mrs. Bailey he Is survived by one
other slater, Mrs. Ralph Dwinnell. of
Brownton, Minn.
Funeral services will be held from
the Conger funeral parlora Wednea
day at 1 p. m. Interment will be
made In the Wagner oreek cemetery.
