Communications
Tribute To .Mr. Marshall
To the Editor:
It seems to mo that Vern Mer
shall's communication of November
4 Is one of the finest expressions
of American patriotism I haw read
In a long time. For one who has
been so strongly opposed to Presi
dent Roosevelt's administration to
"about face" and express such con
fidence in and promise "undivided
support' 'to his leadership, and the
Judgment end faith of nearly a unan
imous vote of the American people
is most encouraging. What a bless
ing It would be if in these times
of world-torn strife and internal
troubles moro of our great leaders
could forget their petty selfishness
and greed for gold and more power
and work together for th greatest
good to the greatest number. I cer
tainly admire Mr. Marshall's courage
and loyalty.
