ttie snow files In Oregon and luckless
motor lata run Into uncleared stretches
of highway, the Pacific coast maritime
strike can be called to account.
Fifteen snow plowa ordered by the
state highway coramteMon are held
up at Los Angeled because transporta
tion Is not available. The commis
sion has ordered purchase of 10
pieces of equipment locally to meet
possible emergencies and to fill a re
quest from the maintenance division
stating that 25 plows will be needed
to meet snow conditions.
The commission took action on the
following projects:
