state legislature In 1933 passed a
lew, better known as trio dentlats's
advertising act, which forbids dent
ists from advertising prices. The ln
latlvo measure on advertising to be
voted on November 3, would nullify,
by constitutional amendment, this
act as well as forbid regulation of
any truthful advertising within the
state.
In sponsoring the amendment to
the constitution, 8. T. Oonohue. Eu
gene, declared a lavorable vote on
the bill would protect all lines of
lawful business from legislative re
striction placed on them by small
groups banded together to promote
their own selfish Interest at the ex
pense of honest competition
Proponents of the smendment fur
ther stote the dental law was not
designed for the general publle, since
It does not prohibit lowering of prices
or giving free dental examinations.
They state further that the act af

kettle; add seasonings and heat on

Serve with toasted bread slices or
croutons and grated parmesan
cheese.
