Car Victim t'nhurt Thomas Hart,
of the Prince Electric company here,
was unhurt when struck Saturday
night by an auto asaertedly driven by
Orlando M. Barnett. 1618 North Riv
erside avenue, It was reported to city
police. The Barnett auto struck Hart
and knocked him down as he stepped
off a curb, the report said. Each ab
solved the other . of blame, police
stated.

Mr. Hughes Is spending his leave with

West 4th street. Both youths were
accepted for enlistment here and
passed their final entrance examina
tions in Portland last spring. They
will be given assignments upon their
