had been camping at Huckleberry
mountain and had a large truck car
rying a lot of camp equipment with
them. They picked and canned over
200 quarts of berries. They have IIS
acres of potatoes thst will soon be
ready to hsrveet snd expect at least
twenty thousand sacks of poatoes.

prieved. Twice the reprieves came
within 33 minutes of the time filed
for my death."

Because of hla conviction, he said,
he and his wtfe. Mrs. Tressle Holte
olaw Langley of Wilmington, N. C,
have sepsrated. His two children,
Juanlta and Vernon, live with their
mother. He hasn't seen them In two
yeara, and he said he dare not visit
them lor fear ot another harrowing
experience with the law there.
Furthermore, he pointed out, he
