York" la the title of a carving which
Lewis Carlos haa fashioned from a
160 -pound block of wood. Home
made knives, a chisel and a wooden
mallet were his only tools. Alto
gether he chipped away about 50
pounds of wood.

with them and especially enjoyed
speeches from them. In the course
of their remarks, each offered very
helpful suggestions for the grange
