NEW YEAR
WE always have a hard time planning a good Easter ad because
we can't disassociate it from New Year's Day. Seems to us the
New Year we observe is somewhat artificial that ile real New
Year observance should be at Easter time, for then is when the
new year in nature ,really begins.
It begins with folks, too, for as Nature puts on her new garments, so do
men and women. We think of many other things also our yards are
cleaned and replanted our homes are overhauled
from top to bottom and we sort of make a new start.
New foods appear on our tables spring lamb, rab
bit, fried chicken, new vegetables and salads a com
plete change of even our food habits takes place.
While telling you that we have anticipated this sea
sonable food change, we feel the urge to turn time back
to January 1st and repeat our wish that you may have a
