half holiday. A very interesting pro

demonstration of folk dancing. John

alist, W. J. Rice, author of the Rico
penmanship system and Mr. Jewett,
aupt of Central Point schools gave
interesting and instructive addresses.
Several local people also participated
in the program. Joe Nee, local high
school teacher, pleased his audience
with two solos, "The Banjo Bong,"
and "The Pirate. and Frances Halght
aang a selection from the operette
recently given by the hlgn school.
The meeting adjourned at 4:10.

the Jackson County Teachers' chorus
at the senior high auditorium In
Medford last evening at 0:10 o'clock.

The alternating sunshine and rain

Jacksonville and Sunday saw many
out bunting and picking them
