Softball, or kitten ball, will be

ball has come forward rapidly in
the past few years and now the
twilight league haa aa many de

started playing around with that.
The other American with us. Don
Rafael from Oakland, was a fine
passer. He was tossing long passes
to us and we were kicking them
back, and one of th Montreal pro
football coaches tried to s!gn ua both
upto play for them on the team they
were planning on atartlng that year.
We declined, of course, knowing more
about bow good we were at football
than he did, but were tremendously
flattered, none the less.
Next year the Creen Bay Pack
ers, from the American pro
league, thumped the Montreal
team, J0J-0.
Some time ago we stated that
getting a hc.a in one no longer
created much of a furore outside
the Immediate vicinity of the course
on which the ace waa made. We eat
our wcrds now. The Aaaoctated Press
ha asked for a list of all thoae
who have turned In dodos alnee the
start of the year, with the object
of making a big atory out of tne
facts gleaned before the end of the
year. Already several have been
turned In on the Rogue Valley
course, and MacPberaon, pro at the
club, believes that all records will
be shattered before the end of the
year. Ab Banwell may not have
