ball teama played the Proepect teams
at Prospect. The Prospect grade
school team won and the high achool
team wai defeated.
Carl Richardson, who has been
working In Klamath Falls, was called
home early last week to be at the
bedside of his brother. Edmund,
who passed away Thursday evening
In the Community hospital In Med
ford after a long illness. The funeral
waa held Sunday afternoon at Con
ger's In Medford. Much sympathy 1b
extended to the bereaved family.
Mrs. Frances Pearson and Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Manning were among
those attending the Edmund Rich
ardson funeral Sunday afternoon In
Medford.
Mrs. Frank Manning and Mlas
Denoy -Manning returned to their
home In Prospect Sunday evening
after spending the past two weeks
with Mr. and Mra. Ludo Grieve.
Mr. and Mra. Charles Manning
were dinner guests Saturday night
of Mr. and Mra. Ludo Orleve.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gordon of Fort
Klamath have been guests the past
week of Uriah Oordon and Miss

home In Salem soon alter her arrival

Mrs. Howard Miller and children,
Catherine and Jlmmle, are receiving
medical aid at the osteopathic clinic
In Medford. Mrs. Thurston visited
them Baturday and said they were
Improving but that Jlmmle had a
badly abcessed ear.
Mrs. L. K. Potter says she was
never so surprised as when on Prldsy,
February 21, the Women's Relief
corps of Central Point came In a body
to her home here and gave her a
kitchen shower. A potluck dinner
wss aerved and a Joyous afternoon
followed.
Mrs. L. E. Hamm ersley, assistant
at Pine Tree camp store, left Wednes
dsy for a two weeks' visit with her
son, Lee, and other relatives at Sa
lem, Ore. Mrs. Allda Tula Is clerking
In tha store during Mrs. Mammers
ley's absence.

After an enjoyable week-end visit
including a sight-seeing trip over the
vslley with the Tracy family, Mr, and
Mrs. Mel Williams returned to their
home at Orants Psas. Edward In
mann motored over with them.
Mrs. Miles Davis and amall daugh
ter, Martha Sue, left by train Sunday
nlgbt for a visit with relatives In
California .and then on to Hot
Springs, Ark, They sspeat to be gone

Dick Rlchman has leased again the
3800 acres of grazing land owned by
the Swlftwater, Ino. 'Tha big old
barn that has sheltered so many cat
tle and tons of hay went down during
a recent gale. There was no hay or
cattle In the barn at the time. It Is
ssld this old building has a history,
being one of tha oldest and largest
ever built In Jackson county.

family Is camping at Tolo.
