The Knight of PythlM have agreed
to sponsor the Medford Junior Sym
phony orchestra, It was announced
today by John R. Knight, originator
of the Idea. At a recent meeting the
itnignts of Pythias voted to donate
their hall for practice sessions, with
light to be furnished by the lodge.
Knight said today: "It Is through
the generosity and progressive char
acter of this organization that the
orchestra has a home In which to
hold rehearsals. Ample room and
lighting makes the hall an Ideal
place for this purpose.
"It Is my ambition that this or
chestra shall grow and become a
finer one each year. With the help
and guidance of our sponsors and
the encouragement and cooperation
we are receiving from every aide.
I am sure these hopes will be real
ized. "I take this means to thank the
Knights of Pythias for their support
and also to thank the Pythian Sis-
tera for their assistance In prepar
ing and serving of refreshments to
the orchestra and frlenda Sunday
afternoon." Knight said.
