WASHINGTON (UP) A unique
"library" of building materials will
be In the procurement division gal
lery of the treasury department now
under construction. The "library
books" will be samples of materials.

The aluminum industries exhibit
combines aluminum, marble ana
phenol-formaldehyde In Bn artistic
presentation. Walls are cf marble,
with aluminum plaques snowing va
rious finishes. Floors are of mar
ble with aluminum strips and the
celling Is of ; phenol-formaldehyde.
Aluminum Venetian blinds have
been used In various window treat
ments. In the center of the room Is

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (UP) Many
unusual projects are being carried
out by Investigators attached to the
Peabody museum at Yala university.
Dr. Cornelius Osgood, curator of
anthropology, who has devoted his
research to the far north, haa com
pleted the third of a series of Alas
kan ethnological field studies. Most
of the trip was devoted to the Ing
allk, an A thapaskan -speaking- tribe
of Eskimo, where a surprising rich
culture has been recorded. Accord
ing to Osgood, fruition of his work
promises to change fundamentally
the present conception of theso
primitive people. 1

natural history. The hall of local.
ecology contains complete exhibitions
of birds, fish, beetles, reptlleq and
some of the unusual forms of mam
mal life In this section of the country.
The department of vertebrate pal
ontology has completed the work
of mounting n rri t
known as the Claosaurus agllU. Two
