heavy team of black horses. The
Rigel brothers have also purchased
teems. Mr. Coon sold a team re
cently and Oscar Johnson hsd the
misfortune to lose a good borae with

Taylor Hartley, one of the oldest ,
residents of Williams creek, psssed
away at his home Tuesday. He had
been feeble for several years. Inter
ment was tn the cemetery by the lit
tle Methodist chapel. Rev. James Gib
son, psstor of the Methodist church,
south, of Medford, conducted the
funeral services. Father Hartley, as
he was lovingly known by his many
friends, will be sadly missed.
