Snowmen Meet Rogue Snowmen
will meet at 7:15 tonight In the Jack
son County Chamber of Commerce to
discuss plana for the week-end. Some
of the members are planning to at
tend the week-end snow carnival at
Mount Shasta, but not as club rep
resentatives. The Shasta meet, spon
sored by the California Ski associa
tion, includes ski Jumping, racing;
and cross-country and slalom runs.
It is likely the Rogue Snowmen, as
a club, will spend Sunday at Crater
Lake national park If the highway
leading to the west entrance Is open.
If It is not open they will probably
go to Union Creek, where the U. S.
forest service has provided a ski
slide. It was reported today that the
state rotary plow la now working on
the blocked highway between Dia
mond lake Junction and Crater, the
probability being that the, road would
be made passable by Sunday.
