Tiger Taskoff, belligerent Bulgar
ian wrestler, has docked his bristly
moustache and emerged last ntght
with a clean phle. The Tiger has
had a tough time with that cookie
duster. He started out with one of
these long, flowing handlebar adorn
ments, calculated to set htm aside
in the ring. His opponents, he dis
covered, set him aside by grabbing
the beer strainer and swinging htm
around by It, which pleased him not
one lota.
So then he had It cut down to
ring size, so It looked like a mous
tache but afforded no hand holds.
After winning a match In Los Ang

she'd kiss the Tiger for his efforts
If It weren't for that horrid old
moustache. Tearing up to his room
with & speed he seldom exhibits In
the ring, he broke out the razor and
whtsked M the brush and returned
to the lobby. Our lniormant dtdn't
tell us whether the young lady waa
still there or not. The Tiger won't
mention. In fact he'll probably try
to kill us for doing so.
The point is that when he return
ed to the ring the next week, he'd
lost that intangible something
known ss ring "color," and hsd to
let the brush grow again. Now he's
shaved it sgaln (Medford gals hav
ing nothing to do with it he waa
shaved clean before he got here).
We didn't notice that the Tiger had
lost much of his inimitable person
ality, but the crowd knows best.

Is the story of what happened when Bobby
and Lady Frances Derwent refused to accept
the coroner's Jury verlict of "accident" as
an explanation of the tragedy on the golf

this lively young couple soon found need of
all the inspiration and quick-wittedness they
could command. The climax is startling, the
