Montgomery, park ranger, oonsulted
yesterday with J Carlisle Crouch,
chief ranger of Crater Lake national
park. He arrived here from the lake
Friday evening, coming by car via
Klamath Falls and Ashland, the
highway from Medford to the west
entrance of the park BtlU being clos
ed by snow He said the highway
from Klamath Falls waa In good con
dition save for an Icy surface over
the Green Springe pass. At some
places between the west entrance of
the park and D' amend lake Junction
the highway la blocked by four feet
of snow, he related.
Snow Snorts Beckon Many Rogue
