An earth shock described aa "hard
and accompanied by a rumble was
felt in Great Falls it 11:04 a. m. to
day.
Authorities began check to see If
there had been any damage.
At Helena. Montana capital about
100 miles south there was no shock,
the weather bureau reported there.
Quakes which caused heavy dam
age In Helena lost October often were
flt at Great Falls but caused no ap
preclable damage. Property losses in
Helena, at that time, however, were
estimated as high aa M, 000, 000.

Beverly Hllla mortuary.
Less than a hundred person were
given admission cards to the funeral
service for the dashing, 38 -year -old
actor who died Thursday of a heart
attack.
Two of the four women Gilbert
wooed and married. Virginia Bruca
and Lea trice Joy. both actresses, were
among- the Invited mourners.
While keeping the plaoe and hour
of Interment secret, friends arranged
with Beverly Hllla police for a cordon
of S officers to guard the mortuary
and direct away the curious. The ac
tion was taken to avert mob scenes
as attended the funerals of Rudolph
Valentino and Lllyan Taehman.
The bulk of Ollbert's estate, placed
In a revised estimate at "around
