EVERYONE knows Southern Navel Oranges to be sweeter than
the early oranges from Northern California. Usually the South
ern Navels do not reach this market, in time for Christmas, so
we had the Nosier trucks bring up our Christmas supply.
Due to crop conditions, the large oranges are more economical this
year. An extra good growing year produced a lot of big ones. The
smaller sizes, while costing less per dozen, actually cost more by
weight. While we have any size you want the big ones offer the
best value and are sweeter.
