Welcome Rainfall Recorded The
valley was dampened yesterday morn
ing by a rainfall of .26 of an Inch,
which came with a welcome In the
valley, despite the fact that fruit
picking waa temporarily hampered.
The rain aided late farm crops., how
ever, and served to slightly relieve a
serious forest fire hazard, and aid
hunting conditions. The forecast was
for unsettled weather with occasional
rain today and Monday.
