turned from a recreational meeting
at Cdell lake, where they met with
30 representatives from Rogue River.

ducted by Ray Llmberg, recreational
training officer, and Fred Cleaton
recreational engineer of the regional
forest service offices at Portland.

Lodge, Mont., of their brother, Sharon
C. Merrlman, whose funeral was held
here.
Llndley Gets Appointment Word
was received here today by Major
El.en.burg of the 162nd Infantry of
the National Guard, of the appoint
ment of George P. Llndley as prop
erty caretaker at the Armory here.
The appointment was made for "long
and faithful service." Llndley Is first
sergeant of company A of the Na
tional Guard here now.
Campbell to San Diego Mr. and
Mrs. P. M. Filaon and daughter from
Tennant, Cal., Mrs. S. A. Parker of
Ashland, and Clarance Campbell of
Medford left Monday for San Diego,
where they will visit the exposition
and where Mr. Pllson, postmaster at
Tennant, will attend a postmasters'
convention. They plan also to visit
in Los Angeles, at National City with
Ted Parker and Marian Parker, and
at San Francisco with Gertrude Par
ker, who is taking nurse's training

four Oregon workmen were reported

18. Accidents totaled 690.

The Plynn Electric company yes
terday completed nnegotiatlons for
the purchase of the John P. White
building on West Main street, naw
occupied by the Flck Hardware com
pany, according to Thomas K. Plynn
today. The purchase price waa in
the neighborhood of $12,000. but
Plynn would not definitely state the
figure.
The building will be completely
renovated in the Interior, and the
front will be remodeled, according to
the new owner. A complete shop will
be Installed, and equipment will en
able the company to do any kind of
electrical work. Flynn said today
that rapidly Increased business has
called for an expansion Into the
downtown area.
He has maintained his shop on
North Oakdale, and a warehouse on
West Eleventh street, since he came
to Medford from San Francisco two
years ago.
GEORGE WILSON MEETS
EUROPEAN WRESTLERS
George Wilson, former football star
at the University of Washington, and.
now a professional wrestler, who has
appeared In several sensational
matches in Medford, Is wrestling in
Sofia, and in other sections of south
western Europe, it waa learned today
when word from the stocky flying
tackier was received here. Wilson
made his headquarters at Paris for
some time and Is now touring other
parts of the continent, where he snys
there Is considerable enthusiasm f.n
the American brand of wrestling. He
said he has been very successful in
securing matches.
