wrestle clean against Johnny Soce of
Indiana when they met In one-half
of the double main event of Thurs
day night's wrestling program. It was
imnounced today by the Italian drop
kicker himself.
Pete arrived in Med ford yesterday
from his gold mine, situated in the
lulls near Lei and, where he has Seen
working out for the past several diys
at the business end of a shovel. He
displayed a pair of bacUy blistered
hands and winced when anyone gave

to the northwest fully recovered from
Injuries that have kept him out of
circulation for several months. He Is
after a return match with Pete Bcl
castro, Italian grappler, whose cele
brated drop-kicks were responsible
for putting Let hers out of commis
sion. When Pete kicked Limber Sam dur
ing a hectic bout some time ago at
Klamath Falls, the blow partially
paralyzed Let hers' left side, and he
has been taking osteopathic treat
ment for the Injury in the east, but
Is now back In shape after a period
of gradually-Increased workouts.
Pete says he hates the sight of the
big southerner, and doesn't want to
meet him. but Promoter Lillard feela
that If he can persuade Betcastro to
do so, the result will be the best
grudge match ever billed here.
