The series 621 Hupmoblle has a
six cylinder engine developing 101
Horsepower, and a wheelbase of 131

Its smart streamlining creates a bril

friction to a minimum, according to
Mr. Meehan.
New and exclusive styling with a
high standard of comfort, economy
and efficiency make the series 618
Hupmoblle one of the most popular
lower priced ears, according to Mr.
Meehan.
Like the two higher priced Hup
moblles, series 618 has an aerody
namic, design which provides room
iness, better vision and the finest
possible ride. Its lot horsepower en
gine assures brilliant performance.
The ateel body la bolted directly to
the frame and x-member for ooro
fort and security.
Another feature of Hupmobllee la
panoramic vision, which marks a
definite step forward In safe driving,
this exclusive Improvement meant a
greater angle of vision In all direc

traffic through the windshield, side
windows and rear wlndowa.
Hupmoblle's streamlining permlte
moving the engine forward over the
front axle for better ear balance. The
ear body Is moved forward on the
chassis so that both front and rear
seat passengers are cradled between
the two axlee, eliminating the pitch
of the rear aaat. and Introducing a
new correct distribution of weight
and mass.

PORTLAND, July 6. ( AP) A bus

SEA POWER PLAN'
OE HITLER TOLD
BERLIN. July 6. (AP) Five great
world powers knew tonight what was
being kept carefully from the people
of Germany the Relchs' detailed
program of naval construction for
1935-36.
Under the pledge of secrecy mili
tary attaches of Great Britain, the
United Statea. Fiance. Japan and
Italy were told last night exactly
what tonnage the Germany navy has
and will have at the end of 1036.
what categories of ships she has
built, Is building and Intends to
build, and what submarines and
speedboats are under construction or
planned.
Secrecy was maintained as to the
contents of the communication, but
an authoritative source said It was
merely In the nature of a notifica
tion without any suggestions to those
informed that they make known
their own positions.
It was taken for granted In diplo
matic circles, however, that the "not
ification" was In the nature of a
'bulld-up" for Relchsfuehrer Hitler's
endeavor to obtain a general naval
agreement among the governments
primarily Interested In sea power.
