PamphlH Incite Natives.
The "watch tower" sect has swamp
ed the country with pamphlets call
ins: on the natives to rise and seize
Africa. As a result, officials have
noticed a mounting disrespect bor
dering on insolence among the na
tive danger signs for the handful
of whites ruling millions of primarily
savage blacks.
The sect began In 1002 In the
Transvaal, where black witch doctors
took the doctrines of an American
religious group called "Watch Tower"
and twisted them to suit local con
ditions. The sect spread like wild
lire, ebbed, then flared again in 1925

state supreme court ' today upheld
Initiative 77, prohibiting the use of
fish traps In taking salmon from
waters of Puget Sound, as constitu
tional. The decision of the court was
unanimous. The act was adopted by
the voters at the 1933 general elec
tion. Its validity was challenged In
suit brought directly before the su
preme court by Daniel Campbell,
San Juan county fish trap operator,
and three other fish trap com
panies of northwest Washington.
