QUESTIONS ASP ANSWERS
Embalming
Controversy In our family as to
value or safety of using the Juice of
canned fruit or vegetables. Is the
benzoate of soda harmful In any
way? (A. J. 8.)
Answer I should prefer to worry
along without any canned fruit or
canned vegetables If I could not have
such food without the embalming.
The better grade of canned fruits or
vegetables contains no chemical pre

so, In what way. (P. E. B.)
Answer It Is harmless enough, but

that any progressive producer In the

opportunity now offered to him.
The main objoot of the Jackson

find new outride markets for the
products of the valley. This organis

support of anyone who has anything
'to sell; and, especially, of those v ho

of our people throughout the county
are In total Ignorance of the good
work being done for them by the

I regret to say that during the past

Whether or not their suspicions
were Justified. I cannot say, but since
