Clyde Adams, accompanied by Em
mett Gott, took Elmer Gott to Ten
ant, Cal Sunday, where he has em
ployment. Several ladles spent the day quilt-
! in at Mrs. Marlon's last Thursday.
They all brought a covered dish
luncheon, which was served at noon,
and much was accomplished on Mrs.
Marlon's quilt.
Next Thursday afternoon Hustlers'
club will meet at the home of Mrs.
Marlon and all ladles of the com
munity are urged to bring a thimble
and thread nd needle.
Rev. and Mrs. Smith and daugh
ter. Prances, have returned home after
successfully conducting a two weeks'
Bible school at Eagle Point.
Mias Taylor has returned to her
home after attending summer school
in Ashland for the past two weeks.
Mrs. Clyde Adams, Miss Haael Mc
Cabe. Prances and Rose Smith left
today to attend the Presbyterian
summer conference at Fir Point, near
Glendale, Ore. Rev. Smith will take
the girls in his car and stay the week
at the conference.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Doran of
Table Rock were dinner guests at the
M. A. Putney home Sunday.
The vacation Bible school closed Us
sessions Friday with an all-day pic
nic. Mr. and Mrs, O'Donohue took
the boys to Rach o' Res creek for
their picnic and Mrs. Clyde Adams,
Mrs. Mayuard Putney and Rose Smith
entertained the girls and smaller
children at a ptcnlo at the fish hatch
ery. The children all had a good
time.

part of Queen Esther and Dick Carson
was the King. There were five scenes
In the dramatization and between
scenes the audience enjoyed special
music by the Christian Endeavorera.

the past two months convalescing at
the home of her daughter at Klamath
Falls, has returned to her home and
