Joe Wilson of this city, vsa fined

court charges of minor violations of
uto lsws, growing out of the auto
accident on the Jacksonville highway
two weeks ago. that resulted In the
death of Francis Eraley. 13 year old
boy bicyclist. The grand Jury Tues
day returned a not true bill against
Wilson, on an 'Involuntary man
slaughter' charge.
Wilson entered pleaa of guilty to
driving without an operator's licence,
and to having Improper license
plates, to-wit, California license
plates.
Wilson was given until June 19 to
pay the fines and costs, by Justice
of the Peace William R. Coleman.

today tn the Medford district, and
the Rogue river valley district, ac
cording to Olen Arnsplger, general
manager of the Medford district.
Hat weather of the past four days
has lessened the flow in creeks, and
caused orchard Ists to request storage
water for Irrigation and use in spray
schedule operattona.
"In the Medford district the water
users 'have been placed on an eight
Inch q iota for the season." Manager
Arnsplger stated. Thls means they
will receive for the season sufficient
water to cover their places to a depth
of eight inches.
"A week ago we began using waste
water In the creeks for irrigation."
said Arnsplger. "In the past five days
the flow has ebbed and we had to
start using storage water."
The Fish lake storage amounts to
an estimated 6500 acre-feet, and Four
Mile lake an estimated 9000 acre-feet,
Arnsplger reports. This la practically
the same as last year. The two lakes
are the supply souroa of the Med
ford and Rogue River districts.
At the Emigrant dam reservola. It
la estimated there are 7000 acre-feet
of water, and at Hiatt Prairie BJ0O
acre-feet. They are the source of sup
ply of the Talent district.
