Williams school closed May 24 with
high school graduating exercises In
tha evening at the grange hall. There :
was a large crowd present. The stage
was beautifully decorated with green
and flowers In the class colors. Xue
address was given by Rev. W. R.
Balrd. pastor of the Christian church
of Medford and was greatly enjoyed
by all present.
There were three graduates from
the high school, Fay Holzhauser.
Pauline Varner and Norman Webb.
Four received eighth grade diplomas.
All of the teachers were retained
for next year. During the vacation
Miss Mel Carter, high school teacher,
w'U attend summer school at Eugene.

fornia and will attend the fair at San
Diego. Miss Ethyl Boussum Is visit
ing friends at Snn Jose, Cnllf. Mr,
Cnllett, principal of the school, will
visit his folks In the east.

The old residence destroyed by fire
on the Bwearlngen place recently was
