Fishing, hunting snd boating en
thusiasts are urged to attend the
meeting of Southern Oregon Sports
men, Inc., scheduled to be held
Monday night at 8 o'clock at the
Chamber of Commerce. At this
meeting committees will be ap
pointed and an active campaign
of bettering sporting conditions
throughout southern Oregon will be
mapped.
Enthusiasm for the recently ex
panded organization Is noticeable
in sporting circles, and the mem
bers feel that many benefits will
be derived from the year's program,
which is rapidly taking shape under
Commodore Frank DeSouza. If other
business matters are cleared up in
time. It is hoped also to form plans
tomorrow night for a banquet In
the near future celebrating closure
of the Rogue river.

uary 1. next, at which time the bonds
are calUble. Remainder of the bondj
