score card, issued last week by the

On the card, which Is displayed In

covering location. sanitation, clean

of keeping files out. neatness, attrac
tiveness, etc. In scoring, every part
of the market is thoroughly In

Is prepared for local consumption, ac
cording to Mr. DeVore.
Ashland high school's net men will
attempt to jet revenge when they
battle the Medford high school ten
nit team on the local Junior high
school courts tomorrow morning.
Two weeks ago the Tigers barely
nosed out the Llthlans 43 In Ash
land. When the Ltlhians semlngly
had victory in their grasp, the Tiger
won both doubles to save the day
for Medford. Tt b defeat furnishes
Ashland's motive for revenge.
Ashland will probably be represent
ed by .uch stars as Carson. Canfleld.
Hocking. Miller. Nlnlnger. and
Scroggings.
Frank Brown. Nerln Cope. Earl
Cos. Don Herrted. and Melvln Fader
will probably comprise the Medford
team. Jicvln Cope, undefeated In
singles so far this year, and Frank
Brown and Earl Coss. each with one
loss, will have their records to de
fend.
To date the local team, coached
by H. F. Cope ol the high school
faculty, has won three out of four
matches. Besides tomorrow' match
with Ashland, the Tigers face the

pllshed for him personally. Davis
was .0 Interested that he suggested
the farmer go around and tell other
farmer about his experience. The
farmer wa put on the AAA payroll
for that purpose and is now out mak
ing apeechea.
Without saving anything about It,
the new deal seems to have scrapped
the idea of spending relief money for
the manufacture of good. Presi
dent Roosevelt hlmsflf la aupponed
to have orriwed discontinuance of the
practice.
Under the old relief set-up. money
was spent to make mattresses In Ohio,
shoes In some other section, etc.
Pome complained bitterly about the
competition.
A new project was recent ly put
forth by Coneretsman Connery of
Massachusetts to spend Vfi.OOO.0O0 of
relief money for making shoe. He
was turned down on the ground that
the government Is not doing that
sort of thing any more.
that Mr. Robert was on a Morgan
I list for 100 shares of Allegheny cor

long before Mr. Morgan became a

was an attorney in Philadelphia.
The reason the brotherhoods are
reviving the matter is because Mr.
, Roberta led the majority of the court
I in the recent opinion Invalidating
the pension law.
The secret of the popularity of the
farm program with many farmers
may be found In some of the AAA
statistics. There are 8.000.000 farm
er subscribing to AAA contracts.
Payments to the notton farmer
amounted to V24.415.B79 to the end
of March. The AAA expect to pay
about HOC 000.000 to cotton farmer
this year, as compared with 1 16.000,
000 paid to them last year.
The next issue of Labor, a forceful
newspaper issued by the railroad
brotherhoods, will contain a roarer
that Supreme Court Justice Roberts
was on the J. P. Morgan preferred
list. The brotherhood boys have dug
up evidence from a record of the sen

WHAT'S A LADY TO DO?
Don't raise Jimmy to be a fly-ewatter! He can't
kill mosquitoes and Hwtaneata timehe won't
live that long. Kill 'em at at once it easy!
STANDARD OIL FLY SPRAY
It kills mosquitoes, flies, fleas, gnats, moths
and other insects, and kills 'em quick!
Why? Because our laboratories developed a
spray with four important features. First, the
finest pyrethrum (toxic to insects) is used.
Second, the spray solution is light enough to
atomize completely, allowing its mist to settle
down slowly when sprayed. Third, it is free
from oil which might stain clothes and fabrics.
Fourth, it is absolutely harmless to humans
and pets. Insist on Standard Oil Fly Spray.

Bridegroom StweS m$e from " Coffee - Floating "
BETTY and JOE had just returned
from their honeymoon. The first
thing that Betty did was to make
out a market list.
"There!" she exclaimed, "I don't
think I've forgotten anything."
Joe looked at the list over her
shoulder. "What kind of coffee
are you going to get?"
he asked
"Oh," replied Betty,
"we'll find a bargain in
coffee at the store."
Joe thought for a
minute, and then said,
