comer to the ring. Olen has been

watchman, was held by police today
pending arraignment on a charge of
sending obscene letters In which he
threatened Col. Charles A. Lindbergh
with death.
Newman Stone. Paterson detective,
and Detective Sergeant E. A. Hauss
ling of the state police, who brought
about Martin's arrest, said the pris
oner admitted the letters were In
his handwriting but told them he
"doesnt remember" writing them.
One of the letters was sent to the
Paterson police, the other to Warden
Lawes of Sing Sing prison. In them
the writer said he was ' the "John"
of the Lindbergh kidnaping.
"This Is from J&n." one of the
letters said In part. "This Is not a
ransom note: this is a killing note.
I'll kill Llndy and kill myself. I am
John and I am going to take the
law In my hands."

He outlined the three provisions
that would be Included In the con
tinuing resolution as follows:
That no price fixing shall be per
mitted or sanctioned under any code
except in those codes of mineral nat
ural resqurces which now have price
fixing provisions.
That no trade engaged wholly In
Intrastate commerce shall be eligible
for a code.
That the president shall have a cer
tain number of days- to review the
present code with a view" to conform
ing them to the two exceptions pro
vided in the resolution.
