Lake national park, left Thursday
for Mt. Rainier national park, where
he 1 attending the annual ski tour
nament sponsored by the park serv
ice. He plan to become acquainted
with method of handling now
event, preparatory to similar ones at
Crater lake.

dard Oil company here, left yesterday
to attend a three day meet of com
pany employe in Marshfleld. Mem
bers of the company staff from all
the coast section of Oregon will be
present. A big dinner la to climax
the meet. Dancing, and a big golf
tournament at Bandon will be featured.

Mr. Robnett will return home about

Warkln anil Smith Return Glen
Watklns and George Smith of this
city have returned from a two week
trip to San Francisco. While there
they visited with Dick Sleight, Walt
Young and Joe Patton. Watklns plans
to return to the California city about
May 1, he stated.

national park, left Saturday for
Klamath Falls and Lava Beds nation
al monument, to arrange for delivery
of equipment preparatory to the es
tablishment of an ECW camp at the
Lava Beds. Martin Palmer, park me

at the national monument over the
week end.

ington, D. C.. arrived Saturday, hav
ing concluded a trip to Hawaii, to
check over bookkeeping methods at
the offices of Crater Lake national
park. He will leave this afternoon
with Messrs. R. B. Hodges, chief clerk,
Clayton L. East. ECW clerk, and J.
A. Shepherd, bookkeeper of Crater
Lake national park, on an Inspec
tion trip to Oregon Cave national
monument.
