matches of the year was announced
today by Promoter Mack LtUard. who
has signed up Popular Joe Hubka,
Nebraska speed merchant, and Casey
Columbo of Italy, a recent "find,"
for one of the bouts on a double
decker card Thuraday night at the
armory.
From his first appearance here sev
eral months ago to his latest, when
he took two out of three falls from
huge Al Perelra, last week, Hubka
has been the most sought-after clean
wrestler ever to come to Medford, He
la rated one of the country's fastest
heavyweights and besides his speed
knows as many clever holds as the
big -timers.
Hubka will be outweighed by the
big, smooth-wrestling Italian, who
has only bean In the mat game IB
months, and yet looks like one of
the veterans. Before taking up wrest
ling he was a weight-lifter at the
Hollywood Athletic club and built a
pair of shoulders that are very, very
hard to pin to the mat.

and Shaw-Bertram Lumber company
of Klamath Falls, and the Klamath
town team. This will probably be
the only league meeting before the
start of the 1836 season, and those

According to Puhl, the Medford
club will sponsor a benefit dance at
the Dreamland hall on April 10. with

ouying new equipment.
