The bride wore a blue evening
gown and carried a bouquet of aweet
peas. She was attended by Mrs. Alton
M. Anderson, and Mr. Anderson was

Mrs. Herb Brown and Mrs. Marie
Mnsler. sister of Mr. Harrington.
Following the ceremony Mr. and
Mrs. Harrington left for Portland
and will return Thttmday. They will
make their home In Medford, where
Mr. Harrington haa a poaltlon with
the Tas Oil Co., at 112S West

Surprise Party in
Her Home Friday
When the announcement was made
yeswrday that Fire Chlet Boy Elliott
and Mrs. Elliott will leave about the
first of May for a six weeks' mid
western trip, the wives of the regular
and volunteer firemen gave a sur
prise farewell party for Mrs. Elliott
at her homo In Durrell court yester
day afternoon.
The ladles presented Mrs. Elliott a
splendid leather wardrobe bag, and
traveling apparel for the contemplat
ed trip. The afternoon was spent In
various amusements. ,

High School Glee
Clubs Give Dance
The girls' gymnasium of Medford
high school was the scene of an un
usually gay dancing party March 2U
when the Associated Glee clubs cele
brated: their operatic success, 'The
Chimes of Normandy," with dance.
The decoration committee under
the direction of Elaine Brophy. chair
man, using the operetta scenery,
transformed the gym Into ft beauti
ful scene of old Normandy. Music
was furnished by Whipple's orchestra,
and special entertainment was pre
sented in form of acrobatic tap
dances by two pupils of the Schrsder
dancing studio. Refreshment were
served following the dance.
Credit for the success of the dance
