Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Obenchaln,
newlyweds, were treated to the usual
truck ride over the bumps on Tues
day night by their uelghbors and
friends, and wound up with a house
warming with the crowd at their
home in the Pine Grove district.
Mr. and Mra. Elmer Merrltt of
Merrl 1 1 spent the week -end with,
Mr. Merritt'a parents, Mr. and Mrs.
C. M. Merrltt. While here they also
visited Mrs. Elisabeth Leever of Wil
low Springs.
Eugene Merrltt was called back to
Merrill March 1 to work In the pota
toes, which are now moving rapidly

employed in the hospital at Grants
Pass, spent the week-end with her

Mru. Ida Graves, formerly of San
Francisco, has opened a beauty shop
in Central Point, the first one this
town has ever bad. Local ladles find
it quite a convenience. Mrs. Graves
was former owner of the "Blue Rose,'
across the street from the Alcaear
theater in San Francisco.
