A wedding of Interest to many
local people was solcmnlMd In Oak
land, Cal February 22, when Ml
Te Merrell. formerly of Mrdford,
became the bride of E. O. Wllkeraon
of San Francisco. The ceremony took
pla-e at the fashionable St. Paula
Episcopal church on beautllul Le
Merrltt.
To the strains of Lohengrin's wed
ding march, played on tlia pipe
organ, the wedding party proceeded
to the altar where the Impreaslve
ring ceremony waa read. Mies Doris
Patton served as maid of honor and
Richard Sleight acted as bet man.
Both attendants were local mcmbera
of Mlsa Merrella graduating class at
Medford high school In the claaa
of '33.
The bride waa lovely In a silk
suit of brown and gold with match
ing accessories and a small turban
with eyebrow veil.
Mra. Wllkeraon will be remembered
aa the attractive and popular daugh
ter of Mr. and Mra. Norman Merrell
and the niece of Mayme E. Hlddle
and W. r. Isaacs and grand-daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Merrell.
Mr. Wllkeraon formerly resided In
Klamath rails, but has since been
associated aa salesman with the Ever
laatlk company of San Francisco.
Mra. Wllkeraon was born In Med
ford and spent much of her life
here, where she was a popular mem
ber of the youngor set.
After a snort honeymoon the
couple will be at home to their many
friends at 721 Deary street, San
Prancleco.

The noma of Mr. and Mrs. Z. W.
Hedgpeth of Central Point was the
scene of a wedding ceremony Friday
evening Bt 7 p. m., when their
daughter, Merle Hedgpeth. became :
tha bride of Oliver Obenchain, son
of George Obenchain of Central
Point. The ring ceremony waa per
formed by Rev. D. E. Millard. .

the ceremony and the newly weds left
