There was no change in butter or
butterfat on the iocs! exchange to
day. While there was no further general
change in the egg market for the day.

shtwed slight shading in spots where
a surplus was beginning to show.
There was a light supply of live ;
chickens in sisht and prices comm-
ued firm. Lechorns were the chief (
desire of the trade and offerings were
far below daily requirements.
While prices were generally hald
intact by distributors, a slow demand
was showing for country killed hogs.
Retailers report that the public was
buying sparingly.
Country killed calves were in scant
supply here with a continued famine
in the trade and prices well heid.
Lambs were about steady. Beef de
mand remained keen at full prices.
