and pillow slips will be sold as fin
ished should there be a demand for

A reading was given by Mrs. Ban
croft on rescue mission work among

Chester Woods of Ashland has
rented his property on Wards creek
to Dan Thompson.
Mrs. Martha Stead, who has been

Ashland hospital Sunday where she
will be close to her doctor.
Word was received by relatives that
little Delbert Witt was operated on
for appendicitis at Portland Wed
nesday.
Among business visitors at Med
ford Wednesday were H. W. Sparks,

A Jolly evening was enjoyed at the
Qlrl Boout meeting Wednesday. Each
brought a package which was sold
to some one else for 1 cent, and
the party who bought a package

the evening. . This caused much
amusement. Mrs. Hart and Mrs. R.
Scott treated the girls to cake.

and 7 leaders and visitors.

Mrs. Letsy Miller, chairman of
the H. R. O., reported that the
ladles organized a home economics
club when they met at the Green
wood home February 14, with Mrs.
Miller aa chairman, Mrs. Nora Wait,
secretary and Mrs. Lulu Plank,
treasurer.
Lecture hour was In charge of
the home economics committee. A
very Interesting program was given.
Mrs. Shepherd and Mrs. Klercaey
gave a demonstration of the right
height of kitchen furniture for the
most comfort of tthe one doing
the work.
Everyone enjoyed the comlo antics
of the Kitchen Kl angers band.

weeks visiting here, left Tuesday
evening on the train for his home

the spring bazaar, and the men
are to come and cut wood again.
