Mrs. Alice Luke of Newburg ts a
guest of her sister and husband, Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Thompkins. She Is
enroute home after spending the
holidays with her daughter In south

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Clements have
returned to their home In this dis
trict. Mr. Clements Is much Improv
ed after several months' treatment In
San Francisco.

confined to her home with the flu

The Oregon Lime Products Co., is
running all the time now with a
crew of about eight men putting out
between 85 and 100 tons per week.
They will Install two Diesel engines
in the Immediate future thus elim
inating wood burners except one
boiler for compressed air.
The snow which has lain on- the
ground for more than three weeks
Is mostly gone now. At the Prank
Bryan place there was four feet of
snow. Orayback Is covered to a great
depth which promises plenty of wat

county semester tests. Fay Holzhau

Lewman, Gerald Sorrels, and Arthur
Gray. The percent of attendance for
this report month was 88.9. There
were 38 with perfect attendance In
all the grades.
Mr. Wood brought out the school
allotment of library books from the
county library Tuesday.
