for the past 20 years, wrote an opti
mistic letter from Shingle Springs
stating among other things that the
report of his death waa "greatly ex
aggerated." The many friends here at the Elmer
Hull family are pleased to know thit
they have bought property near Med
ford and are again residents of the
Rogue River valley.

Elk Creek CCC camp has t been
keeping the road open since the
storm. The bulldozer went up the
road, Friday, aa far as Persist.

by Mrs. Barrett was held at the Elk
